COVID-19 Response

With the current COVID-19 situation affecting businesses and individuals greatly right now, we wanted to give our customers an update on how we are responding.

Deschutes Backflow Testing is open, and we are available to you for all backflow testing and irrigation needs. We are taking this seriously, however, and will be adjusting our procedures to ensure the safety of customers and our employees.

There are only two people working to take care of all services, and both are in good health.

No physical contact is needed at all for backflow testing. It is our regular procedure to knock on your door once we arrive to your home, so you know we are on your property, but you do not need to answer. If you would prefer us not to approach your door at all, we are also happy to not do so.

We do not need contact with you for most irrigation services either, especially if your irrigation timer is located outside. Timers located in your garage will need to be accessed, but we just need you to open the door once you know we are on site. The technicians will ensure the timer is thoroughly sanitized before and after we use it.

These temporary procedures may seem less friendly than the interaction you have come to expect from us, but know that we are still committed to a high level of customer service through this time. We look forward to getting back to normal as soon as possible! And we appreciate your understanding in the meantime.

Please also know that we have extensive online services to ensure that we can be fully available to you for scheduling all services, customer support, and payment, without needing to leave the comfort of your home.
